Oppritunity passes 10k.
Pop quiz hot shots, if a Martian rover travels 10 kilometers on Mars, how many miles is it on Earth? (click here for answer) Just thought it was a neat fun fact.
That is the weirdest thing I have ever seen? Why would miles on Earth be different then miles on Mars even if the distance were measured in Kilometers? Unless you are more clever then I anticipated and were calculating the relativistic effects of the smaller gravitational field mars and the difference in speed.
